Compassion...
A few months ago I was visiting an old friend's church, he spoke on Colossians 3:12, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
I've read this passage a hundred times, probably heard a dozen sermons but this time was different...my friend issued a challenge and it just won't leave me. What was that challenge? "compassion without action is condescension".
